What is FPS?

A Friends of Penn State (FPS) is a type of Penn State user account that allows secure interactions between Penn State and users not directly affiliated with the University. Several centralized Penn State services use Web-based applications for their business transactions, and use FPS as the primary method for serving these transactions. With an FPS digital identity, you can gain access to a variety of Web-based applications and services to:

  • apply for undergraduate & graduate admissions;
  • manage financial aid and student loan payments;
  • register for classes via eLion;
  • enroll in Agricultural Extension Courses;

If you would like to create an FPS account, click on the "Create an FPS Account" tab at the top of this page.

If you already have an FPS account, but cannot remember the password, click on the "Reset Your FPS Password" tab at the top of this page.

If you already have an FPS account and password and want to update your information or change your password, click the "Login to FPS" tab at the top of the page and you will be presented with additional tabs for these actions.
